Conference 4, Monitoring Ukraine’s Security Sector Governance (SSG) Challenges: The Role of Media
Between 5th-6th October the fourth multi-stakeholder conference addressing Ukraine’s security governance challenges took place in Kyiv and examined the role of media in security sector governance. The objective of this conference was to outline the role played by the news media in governance and oversight of the security sector, analyse the current role of Ukraine’s media in security sector oversight, and to elaborate relevant international best practices.
