Conference 5: The Role of Ombuds Institutions in Security Sector Governance
The fifth multi-stakeholder conference addressing Ukraine’s security governance challenges will take place in Kiev between 29th and 30th November. The conference will focus on the role of independent oversight institutions and monitoring of security sector policies and practices. The objectives of this event include examining the current role of Ukraine’s independent oversight institutions, identifying monitoring needs, priorities and challenges, outlining international best practices, and providing a series of recommendations to improve their role.
